Minnesota Market Momentum
The Minnesota multifamily market is finding its footing in 2026, with investors showing renewed confidence and deals moving forward with more consistency than in recent memory.
“We’re seeing buyer activity pick up, with more investors actively evaluating opportunities and more deals moving from conversations into due diligence and ultimately toward closing,” said Robert “Bobby” Dulin, Executive Director & Managing Broker. “There continues to be strong demand for well-positioned, cash-flowing assets, while we’re also working on value-add opportunities, new projects/developments, portfolios, and situations where creative structuring and strong execution can make a transaction work.”
The pace hasn’t returned to what the market saw several years ago, but the environment is becoming more balanced — and more actionable — for both buyers and sellers.
Momentum Translating into Real Business
That shift is showing up directly in Kiser Group’s Minnesota pipeline. “We’re currently busy representing sellers across a number of transactions and working closely with buyers to navigate financing, underwriting, and the various challenges that come with getting deals across the finish line,” said Cody Smith, Advisor.
Investing in the Twin Cities Team
That momentum has also fueled growth on the ground. Kiser Group recently added Andrew Gergen as an advisor in its Minnesota office, strengthening the team’s capacity to deliver the level of attention and execution clients expect.
“We see a significant opportunity to expand our brokerage platform throughout the state,” said Dulin. “Andrew is a great addition to our team and will play an integral role in growing our presence across the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota. We are continuing to invest in talented people who can help us better serve our clients, increase our market coverage, and build on the momentum we’ve created at Kiser Group.”
“I’m thrilled to join Kiser Group and help expand our presence in Minnesota,” said Gergen. “Bobby and Cody have already been incredible mentors, teaching me everything there is to know about the business and giving me opportunities to contribute to deals firsthand. I’m excited to keep learning from them while helping the team deliver great results for our clients.”
Looking Ahead
Dulin and Smith remain optimistic about what’s next. Capital is available to be deployed, buyers are gaining confidence, and sellers with realistic expectations are finding real opportunities to transact.
“We believe the next phase of the Minnesota multifamily market will be defined by execution — identifying the right opportunities, pricing them correctly, and having the expertise and relationships to get transactions closed.”
