Record Apartment Sale Redefines Milwaukee’s Near West Side

Kiser Group has announced the record-setting sale of two multifamily properties near Marquette University, achieving the highest price per unit ever recorded in Milwaukee’s Near West Side. The transaction was brokered by Luis Robles, with support from Kiser Group’s Midwest Team, including Kyle Sissell and Will Cornish.

The two properties, totaling 24 units and constructed in the early 1900s, have a consistent history of strong rental performance. Both buildings have been meticulously maintained, featuring clean common areas and well-kept building systems—showcasing how pride of ownership and quality management can drive long-term success.

“This sale is significant for the Near West Side because it sets a new benchmark for well-managed, quality buildings,” said Luis Robles, Advisor at Kiser Group. “Most of the comparable properties that previously sold in the area required major capital improvements. The properties were owned by a joint venture between affiliates of Becovic and Next Realty, LLC. The sale underscores growing investor confidence in the Near West Side, a neighborhood that has historically been undervalued but is now drawing increasing attention for its potential and proximity to Marquette University.
