Just Closed - Bachelor Officers Quarters
Kiser Group just closed an eight unit condo conversion located in the historic town of Fort Sheridan in Highland Park at 191-213 Leonard Wood North for $1,600,000. The property was originally designed by the famed Chicago architecture firm Holabird & Roche to serve as officer housing for the Army, hence it's name of Bachelor Officer's Quarters. The conversion preserved the classic design while providing for all the amenities of high-end condominiums today. Each unit has a wide-open floor plan, terraces, garage parking and elevator access. The property is located among the North Shore's most desireable neighborhoods including Highland Park and Lake Forest with exceptional access and views of the Fort Sheridan Parade Grounds, Lake Michigan and the Lake County Forest Preserve. Bill Baumann of Kiser Group served as list and buy-side agent for this deal which closed on May 18, 2012.
